Happy Hump Day Y’all!!!!
We officially went on our first road trip as a family of four this past weekend! It is safe to say both kiddos did great! My plan was to leave when it was nap time for both kids but that didn’t happen. I’m pretty sure you can guess why, if you know my husband pretty well…lol 😛
Basically, that dude was not ready and he was taking his sweet little time…lol. I’m laughing now, but it definitely was not funny at that moment and he heard all about it in the car ride. Finally, he stopped the car at #mcdonalds so everyone could eat and be merry…hehehe :p
We basically did a weekend trip that is Friday to Sunday. I would recommend having an extra day so you can enjoy all the house amenities too. Like the house our friend booked for our stay had a private community pool, paddling boats, and if you like fishing, you can even fish there.
Inside the house, there were plenty of board games and even a deck of cards to play with. The house can hold nine guests and we had nine adults, two toddlers, and a newborn.
This house also provided pots, pans, towels, sheets, and pillows. Hubby decided he was going to make “egg curry” for everyone on Saturday morning. So one of our friends brought her pot for that. Honestly, if you are going with a group of people, I would recommend planning on what you plan to eat for each meal. This way, if you need to bring anything with you, you can!
Our plan was to eat out for all meals besides breakfast. This is because everyone wakes up at different times so I didn’t want anyone to starve while waiting for the others. Being a #hangry person, I would never want someone else to feel like that…hehehe 😛
Overall, the house we stayed at was pretty cozy and super clean. This is a house I would recommend to anyone because it truly has something for everyone. You can even grill if you want to. I think if we were there for an extra day, then, we would have totally grilled away.
