Things That We Did In Rockport, TX!!!!

5

Hello, hello, hellooo!!!!

Happy Wednesday Y’all!!!!

Today’s blog post is all about the things that we did in Rockport, TX. As you know, on Friday, all we did was chill at the house and get take out for dinner.

Saturday, we ate breakfast at the house and then, wandered away in Rockport, TX. First, we stopped by “THE BIG TREE.” This is something I would recommend everyone to do. One, it is free and parking is not an issue and two, it is a tree that has been around for over a 1,000 years. The fact that this tree is still in tact even after Hurricane Harvey is amazing!!!! Therefore, if you are a Texan, I would highly recommend going here and taking a picture!

From here, we went to downtown Rockport, TX. This is definitely pedestrian-friendly and I even had the stroller with me. The streets were filled with Retail shops, Antiques, Art Galleries, Bed and Breakfasts, Restaurants and a Winery. This literally reminded me of Fredericksburg, TX and I cannot believe I haven’t been here before.

After wandering away in downtown, we decided to get lunch. We ate at Paradise Key Dockside Bar & Grill. The food was great but the drinks felt watered down (just our opinion though). I had the lamb chops and it was really good!!!!

Next, we went to the Rockport Beach. It is safe to say we all enjoyed the beach like no other! The beach is super clean and you cannot take glasses or pets there. Therefore, I was a happy camper knowing that Mia would be fine running around in the sand.

The entrance fee is $5,00 per car. There is plenty of parking since you cannot drive in the beach. You park your car and take all the items you want to take with you. I have to say the beach had cute umbrellas, sand was clean, and the waves were pleasant. Overall, it was a great experience and Mia was living her best life. On a side note, I am sooo happy that she is a beach girl like her mama!!!!

After this, we went back home and everyone took a shower. We decided that we would just chill at the house and get take out for dinner and call it a night!!!!

Hope you all enjoyed this itinerary of Rockport, TX. If you check out something that I didn’t, let me know what it is and if you enjoyed it 🙂

-XOXO-
