WOW, a part of me couldn’t even believe we were celebrating Easter this past Sunday!!! I knew this Easter was going to be way different compared to past Easter celebrations. Therefore, I definitely wanted to make EASTER 2020 as special as I could for the hubs.
I told him on Saturday that I was planning to make chicken biryani for Easter lunch. He was like you think you can do it and I was like why not…lol! I did all the grocery shopping and once we put Mia down for bed. We decided to marinate the chicken for the biryani. We didn’t use all the chicken for the biryani so I was like lets also make tandoori chicken. Hence, we marinated the remaining chicken for tandoori chicken.
The next day (EASTER, SUNDAY), we all ate a PBandJ sandwich for breakfast. After breakfast, I gave Mia her EASTER BASKET. Mia’s Easter basket included chocolates and big bottle of bubbles. It’s safe to say she loved everything about her basket. I’m not even going to lie; I basically ate all the chocolate…lol😜
Once hubby put Mia down for her nap, I got out the instapot and hubby assisted the whole time. I’m pretty sure he was just sooo excited to eat chicken biryani…lol🙃 I’m positive most of y’all who are reading this saw our step by step process of making biryani in our instapot. If you didn’t see it, I’ll definitely be doing a different post on that in the comings weeks!!! After three hours and thirty minutes, our chicken biryani was ready…yayyy!!!
Hubby ate three plates of it so it is safe to say it was pretty good!!! The best part was to see even Mia eating it, it made my heart so sooo happy!!! After we were all done eating, I told hubby that we have to take our Easter picture. Hence, we both dressed up and continued our tradition of taking our Easter family picture!!!
Easter 2020 was definitely completely different compared to past years! At the same time, this will definitely be one of my favorites because I cooked chicken biryani and tandoori chicken for the first time. It will be one for the books!!!
