Hello, hello, hello!!!
This week is Mia’s first week back in school since March 13, 2020. The school actually opened earlier for essential workers only. Then, it opened up for toddlers on May 26, 2020. They have a whole new set of rules to keep the kids and staff safe. Therefore, it definitely was very informative to read all about it.
Hubby and I were going back and forth about whether we should continue to keep her at school. It was by far one of our hardest decisions we had to make so far in regards to Mia. I have no idea what decisions we have to make in the future for her but OMGGG hope its not anytime soon…lol 😝
Mia on the other hand was super excited to be back!!! Back in the days, I was able to drop her off in her class. Now, we stand in line at the front of the school and a staff member comes to open the door to sanitize Mia’s hand. During this time, the staff member checks her temperature. Basically, if your kid’s temperature reads anything over 99.6 or has a runny nose or persistent cough, they cannot enter the school. Once they check the temperature and make sure your child is showing no symptoms, you give the staff member the backpack and they take the child to their class.
Mia’s previous teacher felt like she was ready for the next class. Therefore, yesterday, they moved her into a new class. Her previous teacher felt like she was talking a lot more and since she was potty trained, she thought it was good for Mia. I literally watched Mia all day yesterday to make sure she was okay but of course she was great!!! She looked like she was definitely enjoying herself. It truly is crazy to see how fast she is growing up right in front of my eyes!!!
These past few months of uncertainties have made life difficult and I’m not even going to lie about that. But I also enjoyed every minute of it with my baby girl!!! I think it was something we both needed before her only child title expires…hehehe 😝 Here is hoping she knows how much her mama loves her even when BABY M arrives…love you more than ever you can imagine BABY GIRL!!!
