If you follow “Lizseveryday” on Instagram, you know two weeks ago, I had the worst cramps you can ever imagine. Truth be told, there was a moment, when I thought I may be going into labor. In my head, I was like this cannot be happening because this is just too early!!! I couldn’t stand or even walk so I basically laid in bed all afternoon. Just wanted to mention, this happened on Sunday.
Hubby decided to take off the next day so that he could help watch Mia. He wanted me to rest as much as possible and that was exactly what I did. I called the doctor’s office to see what they had to say. They told me that if the pain was what it was like yesterday to come in otherwise I could wait until Thursday. I decided to wait until Thursday since I have my sugar test on that day. Hubby also took off the next day. Therefore, I basically laid in bed for the most part on Monday and Tuesday.
I definitely felt much much better by Tuesday so told my man he can work on Wednesday. I didn’t want him to continue to take off because I would rather him save his off days for real emergencies!!!
On Thursday, I took my sugar test and then, saw the doctor. The doctor said that my pain could be because the baby is growing bigger and my muscles are stretching out. He did say a lot of other stuff. At the same time, what I got out of it was that; I just need to live with the pain until I give birth…yayyy!!! I did make him check down there to make sure everything was fine and he did do that for me. He said that everything was fine and that put mind at ease like no other!!!
Seriously y’all, never compare any pregnancies because no two pregnancies are the same. This is a fact…lol 😜 At the same time, all I do now is rest when ever I can and try really hard not to do too much that may stress my body. Definitely keep baby number two and I in y’all’s prayers and thoughts that we make it to full term!!! 😇
