Hello there!
Is it crazy to think in two weeks it’s THANKSGIVING…like OMG!!! Time is flying by and this week has been going faster than usual!!! I’ve got an event this weekend too but I was able to make it to the Pie Party in Mia’s class.
There was a part of me who didn’t think I was going to make it. I was suppose to have a meeting at the same time as the pie party and then, my client called and asked if I could do it at a different time. I didn’t even think twice and changed the meeting time.
I got to Mia’s class and she ran to me. She gave me a BIG hug and it made me feel so warm knowing she loved having me there. It is crazy to think that our kids may not notice but let’s be real, they definitely notice. A part of me knows that I may not make it to every class party and that is okay.
I honestly believe you have to do what you have to do! If you can make it to your kids party make it but if you can’t don’t sweat it! As long as you shower your kid with all the love when you are together that is all that matters!!!
By the way, this was the first time Mia had pie and it is safe to say she liked it. She ate pumpkin pie while mama over here ate apple pie…lol 😛
