This past weekend, we had our annual camp with our friends. This year, we went to a place called Lazy Hills. It is about a six hour drive and near San Antonio. For our big group, this is definitely the best place for everyone.
We rented out a house and some cabins. This is a place we had come to in the past. Therefore, I knew there was one cabin with one bed and I basically took that room. The reason being so that Mia would sleep through the night.
I knew if we stayed in the house there would be no way for my light sleeper to sleep any possible way. I did take the pack and play with us so that she could sleep and take her naps in there. Also, I brought her sound machine. This definitely worked for us because Melvin and I were able to thoroughly enjoy the trip.
For the most part, she was eating what everyone else was eating so I didn’t take anything special with us. The group usually does the grocery shopping once everyone arrives and buys things accordingly. The only thing I did carry with us were six pouches. This way, I knew she was getting her veggies even when we were traveling.
During our car rides, she took a nap or was playing with herself. She does stare through the windows and chats away. Therefore, we didn’t have any problems while driving. Honestly, I think she is use to car rides so I am definitely not complaining in that department!!!
Overall, the annual camp was another successful camp!!!
