Mia’s Uncle Dan aka hubby’s not so little brother got married and it was a family affair!!!
Hubby was one of the best men, Mia was one of the flower girls, and I was honored to be one of the bridesmaids. Now, do you get it, why I said that it was a family affair…hehehe!!!
It definitely was a beautiful wedding and celebration. The groomsmen with the groom did an amazing dance and you better believe it that I was cheering on my man like no other!!! Honestly, I never knew he could dance like he did in that one performance. I mean if you follow “lizseveryday”, you know that man is literally one of the shyest guys until he feels comfortable with you. So to see him get down and dance to the music was awesome, I was definitely his number one fan that night cheering him on from the crowd!!!
I will say, we were very lucky to have some of our friends come to the wedding. During the ceremony, one of the groomsmen’s wife watched Mia while hubby and I were standing by the groom’s and bride’s side witnessing their BIG day!
Once the ceremony was over, our friends took Mia with them and watched her until the dance floor. I can honestly say there is not enough THANK YOUS I can say to all of them for watching our girl…I mean I am just sooo grateful and thankful to each and every one of them…even you Ginju!!! J J J
It was one weekend that definitely flew by with so many moving parts. It is crazy to witness an Indian Wedding from the other side. Usually, I see it from the perspective of the wedding planner and as a vendor with so many things happening at the same time. But to be a family member and to see all the parts come together is definitely something else.
FYI…if you are getting married, hire a wedding planner!!! If you think you can do it all, at least hire a Day-of Coordinator for the day-of. Keep in mind, you are spending all this money and you definitely want to enjoy your BIG day with friends and families so don’t just hire anybody. I would highly recommend you do your research and hire someone you know that does great work!!! Okay, I could talk about this forever and ever so I’m going to stop now…hehehe J J J
