This past weekend when we went out of town, we stayed with one of our friends. This was our first time actually staying with a friend with Mia while traveling. Usually, when we travel, we stay at a hotel and always request for the “pack and play.”
This way, when it is time to put Mia to bed, we just place her in the “pack and play” and she just falls asleep. I have been thinking about buying a lightweight “pack and play” to carry around when we are out and about. This way, when Mia gets tired, we can let her sleep in that.
We finally took the plug and bought it for our trip this past weekend. It definitely was one of our best purchases for sure!!! It is lightweight so even I can carry it and set it up. When you pack it though, you will need someone to help you since it comes in a cover.
Two things, one, you will need to buy the fitted sheet for the mattress and two, if you plan to travel with it, you will need to check it in.
If you ask my hubby, he would 100% agree this was one of the best purchases ever!!! It is on the pricer side but worth every penny!!! Below you will see a quick tutorial that the hubby and I did for y’all.
