Hello, hello, hello!!!

Today’s blog post is all about one of my easiest recipes that can be served as an appetizer, lunch, or dinner. I am finally ready to share my chicken salad recipe…yayyy!!!😇

Please keep in mind, I am by no means a chef and I definitely don’t follow directions when it comes to cooking. I literally just go with the flow and see if the hubby likes it or not🙃

At the same time, this is one recipe he loves!!! Thank goodness because it is sooo easy!!! Okay, y’all, lets get started…

First, in boiling water, I put three chicken breast and let it steam for about ten minutes. After ten minutes, I will take one piece and start shredding with two forks. Please note, when you start shredding the chicken and if it doesn’t look like it is cooked, you may need to keep it longer.

Once all the chicken is shredded, I put it in a large mixing bowl. In that bowl, I’ll add the finely chopped onion (half of an yellow or white one) and about four to five celery sticks that are finely chopped too.

After these three ingredients are added to the bowl, I’ll start mixing in the mayonnaise. You can add as much as mayonnaise you want. I usually add extra since I love mayonnaise!!! I also add salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper to taste. I definitely add extra cayenne pepper because the hubby likes it spicy!!! 😜

Y’all, that is it!!! I KNOW…WHAAA!!! But, ya, that is it!!!

Once you like the taste of your chicken salad, you can serve it as a chicken salad sandwich, a chicken salad burrito or even as an appetizer.
