Y’all, it is crazy to think three years ago, I got my first car. This past week, my lease ended so it was time to say, “Bye, bye car!!!”
Four years ago, my first car that my dad got me died on me. The dealership said that there was no point in fixing it and to use that money to buy yourself another car. At this point, I have only drove a Mazda; Tribute so didn’t know what should be my next car. I knew I wanted an SUV but didn’t know which one. Hubby was working from home during this time so we decided we will just wait to buy another car.
At the end of 2016, hubby was ready to start a family. Therefore, as time went on, I knew it was time to get me a car. During this time, hubby also got a new job so he wasn’t working from home anymore. Also, I noticed that there was an Audi Dealership that was being built near our house. Hence, I thought maybe I should get my car from there since it was so close to our house. Then, I found out one of our friends got a car from that dealership while we were in Europe.
A day after we came back from our Europe trip, I asked that friend, if he would come with me to look at cars. After looking at the different cars, I decided I wanted the Audi Q5. I called hubby and he was leaving work so told him to meet me at the dealership. Once hubby met us, we looked at the car one more time and the sales associate went over all the details with hubby.
I decided I would lease the car for three years so this way, we can see what our future looks like at that point. I would say I’m so glad that I leased it because now I need an even bigger car. I think the Audi Q5 is perfect for a couple, a family that is just starting a family, or a family with kids that don’t need a car seat.
We are officially at the state, where I will need two car seats. Therefore, the Q5 is too small for our needs at this point. Hence, I decided to say, “Bye, bye car!!!” I made sooo many beautiful memories with this car and had a few tears when it was time to go separate ways.
Now, I know exactly what my life will look like for the coming years with God’s grace so it is definitely time to get a bigger car. I have my eyes on a car but only time will tell if it will all work out!!! Let’s keep fingers crossed that everything will work out for the best!!!
